Our first checkpoint was -
Visakhapatnam ( Vizag ) -
We reached vizag at 8 a.m. morning. The month was probably January and a some-what coldness was in the air. I along with my friends, picked up an auto-rickshaw to my relative's house. Resting there for a couple of days, we started our expedition.
While there was no need for us to check-in a hotel as we were resting in my relative's house but everyone has a different case. So, here are some Popular and well-managed hotels 👇.

Our first halt was at -
- Ramakrishna Beach
RK beach is situated on the east coast of Bay of Bengal. Also popularly known as Ramakrishna beach, It is one of the most popular beaches of India. The weather here was amazing. The sound as to how the waves crashed on the sea-shore made it up for the audio. To accompany with this I had a selfie stick with me. We bathed at the beach, clicked a couple of photos and enjoyed the sunset.
Now, the important things to have when you visit a beach are -

- Selfie stick ( The most important 😋 )

- A first-aid kit 💊 ( for cuts and bruises )
- Money in pocket 🤑 ( the people here are damn cony-catcher )
- An umbrella 🌂 ( the weather can never be trusted )

- Submarine Museum INS Kursura ( S20 )
Located at a distance of just 10 - 15 mins from the beach. This Submarine Museum is a must watch for people of all ages. INS Kurusura was decommissioned in the year 2001 after doing a loyal service of 21 years, the INS Kurusura submarine played a vital role in a number of wars including the 1971 Indo-Pak war. And to watch the museum gives you a sense of proudness inside you.
The INS Kurusura submarine museum at RK beach is the first submarine turned into a museum in the whole of Asia and second in the world. Various parts of the submarine like the radar room, sonar room, control room, and the weapons used during war are in display in this museum. There are also some guides which explain you about the submarine.
Tip 💡 - If you are an Indian Navy personnel ( or relative ) then bring your naval I.D card with you, then you will get a free access to the museum.

Our next halt was at -
- Kailasagiri
Located at the top of a hilltop 🌄 , Kailasagiri will attract you the most in vizag. There are two ways to reach the top -
The Government of Andhra Pradesh awarded Kailasagiri as its "Best Tourist Spot" in 2003. On average, around three hundred thousand Indian and foreign tourists visit the park every year. To protect the environment, VMRDA has declared the hill a plastic-free zone. The hill, at 173 meters (568 ft), overlooks the city of Visakhapatnam. The major highlights of this park are - a 3D movie hall, a toy train and monuments and sculptures of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and a beautiful park and garden to commemorate your trip.
Our last destination of the day was -
- Through a cable car.
- Through a government bus or by your very own car.

- Ramanaidu Film City
We went to the film city with friends. The place is perfect if you are a photographer, as you get the best picturesque positions and photos from the hilltop. Entrance fee is around 40 rupees they are charging to visit the place. The only problem here is - no proper maintenance and lack of guides. Further there are no Restaurants or eateries inside or adjacent to this Studio, visitors especially those who visit this Studio with small Children are advised to take appropriate measures before visiting this Studio.
Tip 💡 - Bring some kind of breakfast or some snacks with you, as there is no cafeteria on the hilltop. Only visit this place if you have spare time or else ignore it ( we are unemployed, berozgar, people, so we visited it 🤣 ). Okay, that wasn't a good joke 😶.
That was all for the first day...💤💤 ( WHAT ! We also sleep 😴 )
The Next Day 🌞 -
Our first and last visit was -

The Next Day 🌞 -
Our first and last visit was -
- VUDA Park
We visited the vizag's most famous picnic spot the "VUDA Park". The park is named after the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at the time of its establishment, N T Rama Rao. Some major activities to do here are - Skating at a skating rink, boating in a pond and doing GO-carting ( only for children ). VUDA park is now VMRDA park which was changed after VUDA was upgraded as VMRDA . But, what attracted us most was a 'Game zone' which had so many interesting games to play.
Tip 💡 - Don't do anything here, just enjoy the nature 😋.
This was the only place visited by us that day, as we boarded a train in the afternoon and said our good-byes to Vizag.
