The Solved Mystery of Voynich Manuscript... 📜
Claims of ‘cracking the code’ of the Voynich manuscript have lost their sheen somewhat over the last few years, with weak cases being presented from all and sundry. This attempt, described confidently in a research paper and presented in a press release by a UK university seems to have solid backing.
In this series one more name of ' Stephen Bax ' too have been added. This British linguist has cracked the code of the much-debated " Voynich manuscript ". In the course he has found the manuscript is probably written in Asian language.
So far, Professor Bax has been able to decode ten words using an analytical approach. The manuscript according to the method of carbon dating to some time in 1400s. Among the words identified by Prof. Voynich is the word Taurus alongside a picture of seven stars which seem to be Pleiades. Another word identified in the script is ' Kantairon ' with a picture of a plant centaury.
The manuscript is full of illustrations of exotic plants, stars and human figures. Up to discovery several cryptographers had tried hard to decode it, but couldn't even read a single letter. Over time, the script had gained quite a reputation and featured even in several popular computer games like - Assassin's Creed and Indiana Jones novels.
Although at the present time, Prof. Bax's decoding is only partial but it has generated lot of excitement.
